New Zealand :
It was only paper Visa application when I had done this trip in 2014 and you need to do the payment in the form of DD.
Now the process has changed, you can either submit your visa application in paper form or do it online even. But DD is mandatory along with all the supporting documents.

People attaining US & UK visa can avail the eVisa facility and this should charge some $43.

Bhutan :
Bhutan & India share a friendly relationship, hence Indians are exempted from the regular visa process. Indian nationals are required to carry any of the two documents:
(a) PassPort having validity of six months.
(b) Voter ID card issued by Election Commission of India.
You need to fill a form and submit at the permit office.
(Carry recent passport size photographs)
All other nationals need to book a tour package with local tour operators to attain visa.
